Hi, I’m Jo

I started GoJo Fitness Evolution 8 years ago, when seeking an exciting new challenge and complete career change from my twenty year career as a primary school teacher.

I have always enjoyed exercise for fitness, body confidence and for mental wellbeing. Personal training for me was therefore a natural choice.

It gave me the opportunity to have a career doing something I enjoy and also to pass my knowledge on to others and help those struggling with diet, fitness and mental health issues, become fitter, healthier and more confident people with a better understanding of their bodies and pride not only in how they look, but also in what they are capable of doing. And most importantly of all, I wanted to help everyone feel amazing.

Qualified

I recently obtained a diploma as Menopause wellness practitioner after years of researching this largely neglected area of women’s health, so I can help women like myself, navigate this new phase in their lives. I am also a qualified as a gut health practitioner so if you have suffered with bloating or issues surrounding your gut or digestive issues such as IBS, IBD endometriosis, book in a consultation, I’d love to help.

Personal training

I offer one-to-one, paired and small group personal training and a fully comprehensive training programme of classes online via Zoom or in person outside in areas of natural beauty or at the gym.

I am constantly researching and adapting my programmes inline with the latest research and development in fitness and health across the globe! As a teacher, I research, plan, evaluate and adapt each session inline with your needs and feedback to ensure each session is fun, effective, challenging but achievable.
